Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I belive that SETI is our best chance on finding ETI. I don't need to explain why intelligent life is so important.
I see SETI in analogy with the Russian fairy-tale called "The Turnip" or "Repka" (http://russian-crafts.com/tales/turnip.html). Which is a very good example on how group work can lead to success.
