I am a 43 year old Astronomer/Astrophotographer that has had photos published on televieion stations as well as other types of media. Dr. Donald Parker has even used some photos of mine for lectures and conferences. I own several telescopes and photography equipment. I truly do love visual astronomy but something about having a permanent record does more for me now. I have kids that always come to me with science questions for homework and sometimes volunteer at their school for showing sunspots and faculae. I am also a writer with several books published, artist and musician.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I think any astronomy program that can benefit mankind and increase our knowledge is worth everything. I try to get involved in any way possible. If I am needed to search for objects through my telescope or record a specific event I am honored to do so!
