I am French, I am more 45 years old. I work at home, I like genealogy, space conquest and of course I read science fiction book. I like, walking or riding a bike, with my gun dog, every afternoon.

I am sure that ET life exists but where and how ?
Perhaps civilisation is very different :
- why not under water ?
- why not perfect symbiosis with planet.
- why not like us
- many several millenium before or after us.

Il est fort possible que leur civilisation soit très différente :
- pourquoi pas dans l'eau ?
- pourquoi pas en parfaite symbiose avec leur planète
- pourquoi pas comme nous
- plusieurs millénaires avant ou après nous.
So, it is impossible to say when and how humans discover it or vice versa.
But I think so.

I have no faith in human wisdom, all it's possible war and peace, and there is more dangers that benefits of such a discovery.
Yes, humans should transmit a beacon but I don't know what information should we send.
I run SETI@home for to be hopeful peace and united humans.
