I joined the USMC SETI team in honor of my late father. He was a retired Master Sargent and served with Edson's Raiders in WWII.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Maybe if we find intelligent life somewhere other than this small speck of the Universe we live on it will broaden peoples minds and reduce the amount of fighting we do amongst themselves.
I would like to see an STI program (Search for Terrestrial Intelligence) Since I'm not so sure about the intelligence of life on this planet.
