I work in the field of Computer Networking. When I was growing up I had a high interest in astronomy and thought of one day becoming an astronomer. Since that did not pan out I went into the computer technology field and have been there ever since. Still having a great interest in space exploration I ran across the Seti@Home project and joined.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I run Seti@Home because I figured since I do not use my computer at home for much of anything else I may as well put it to good use. And to me, the Seti@Home project is a worthy use of my computer. I use my computers at work to do work related stuff.
