| My name is Jared Burks, and I'm a U.S. Navy Sailor (Soon to be civilian again, thank god.) Currently awaiting seperation so I can began attending UH Hilo to get my B.S. in Astronomy. 23 years old, SWM who believe that searching for life outside our own universe is extremely important. |

1. I run SETI@home because it allows me to do a small part, which makes me feel good :) every bit helps.
2. I think the project is great, currently reading SETI 2020 and I hope some of the plans once Project Phoenix is complete come to fruition.
