Hi All
I am from Kenora, ON Canada. A wonderful little place 2 hours east of Winnipeg. I grew up here from the age of 4. I am now 49. I have 3 children, 31, 28 and 25 and 3 grandchildren 14, 10, and 4. I also have 2 stepdaughters and a stepson all older than my own and one step-grandson and -granddaughter. We were jokingly called the brady bunch for quite a while.
I have always been fasinated by the sky and everything it contains. My husband shares my interest and will be joining me in this as soon as we finish networking his computer on to mine. My husband is retired and I am on disability, which leaves us plenty of time for our hobbies - this being one. I also like to read, and do a variety of handcrafts such as sewing, crocheting, knitting, cross-stitching, carpentry, electrical, etc. We live out in the country where there are no street lights and the stars and the milking way are highly visible, so we are quite often outside hoping to see anything "unusual" in the night sky.
We had set up with Seti once before about 7 years ago but, alas, when we moved out to the country we had to go back to the old phone lines and modem for internet and had to give it up. But the wonders of science has once again rescued us and we had satellite and are once again able to participate.
