I am the IT Manager at Los Gatos High School, in Los Gatos CA. I have been to the Arecibo Observatory many times and am a friend of Rolf Dyce, former Assistant Director (15yrs) at Arecibo. When in Puerto Rico, I hang out at Crash Boat and La Playa Rincon.
I now have the School's computers helping out my friends at Arecibo, Cornell, and Cal (Go Bears!).

Extraterrestial life does exist, however, it will take a lot of horsepower to find it. Distributed computing is a start but, as of today, our tools are pretty weak when compared to task at hand.
