Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I have always believed that in this large universe that there could be some other sentient life out there, perhaps more advanced to that of our own. I'm more so of a scientist than that of a "believer" in that although I do believe that making a decision based on "faith" can present a positive outcome, it's not always the best course of action. I need some definate proof that something exists.

In short, I'm not saying I don't believe in an "All Powerful Being" however there has been no specific trace of such, and everything we know to be in the "Hand of GOD" has all been written by Man. I choose to go with the scientific belief that until I have physical hard evendence of something, it may be possible, theoretically, but not practically.

Adding to this, I personally have had my own experiences seeing "UFO's" and don't have any explaination for such craft. While as facinating as they are, they defy both the laws of physics and gravity. Something that I know as a human being don't add up to be "Man Made". I also have noticed that over the course of time that these so called "visitors" have all the same basic traits visually. Same type of eyes, nose, body type, etc. These are all being described by people from different areas of the globe, who have never met one another, and perhaps have never seen one of these "extra-terrestrials" before.
Coincidence? I don't believe so.
