Profile: David Tuffley

Personal background
I'm a Lecturer in the School of Information & Communication Technology, at Griffith University in Brisbane, Australia.

For me, the question is not whether there is intelligent life out there, but why wouldn't there be, given that the same laws of nature apply elsewhere in the universe, as on earth.

Those same laws that brought forth such a profusion of life on Earth must surely bring forth life on any one of the one in 15,000 or so planets in out galaxy that have something like Earth's climate.
