Personal background
I'm from Eden, New York, in Western New York, about 15 miles South of Buffalo, a nice suburb community. I am 17 years old and a senior at Eden Jr/Sr High. I like messing around with computers, any age, anything. My current systems are the 2.8 Pentium 4 Prescott with 1 GB of RAM and an Radeon X800GTO. That is one of the systems that crunches data, and the other is my server which is an Athlon 850 with 320 of RAM and a 15 GB WD and a 30 GB Maxtor all for backing up stuff.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I run SETI@home basically because it asks the question, is anyone out there, and since my computer is just sitting there, why not run it, I even run it while I'm using my computer, and it keeps going just fine.

Another reason for running SETI@home is basically that it really puts a load on your computer, really stresses it, and my theory is that if your computer, or any computer can withstand SETI@home for hours, days, weeks on end, then that machine is built correctly and is in good running order.

No suggestions really, except keep feeding us the work units.
