Profile: Paco Renta

Personal background
Computer Department (MIS) Director at The Village South in Miami. My main responsibility is setting up and mantaining in operation a database that allows the healthcare information of our clinical patients in treatment for substance abuse. This data is reported monthly to the State of Florida and is used as a monitor of our treatment process of our clients at the agency.
I love to create software and work with a multiuser database called TEAMUP which allows more than 145 users to enter data simultaneously form a central office and from more than 6 remote sites (via dsl lines connected to a central remote server).
My hobby is music (play keyboard), sailing, and painting.
I run SETI to help in the search for extraterrestial life because I am convince that we are not alone in this large universe. I believe that this project has lots of value and merits my very small participation or anything that I can do to help advance this project. I am from Puerto Rico and I am proud of the contribution of Arecibo poject to the finding of such extraterrestial life !
