Personal background
I happen to be one of those that go by the phrase of
"Some things exist whether you believe in them or not!"

My thoughts at the moment are that mankind has spent a long time pondering the Universe through belief, religion, philosophy, and even science. Each path seemingly in opposition, but is it?

I remember being a teenager glued to the "Tube" watching a PBS series called "Cosmos" by Carl Sagan. It made my heart and mind so happy to see and hear such a thing for that day and age. His most memorable quote I heard during the series was:

"If we truly 'are' alone in the universe, that would sure seem like an awful lot of wasted space, wouldn't it?"

Carl Sagan Nov. 9, 1934- Dec. 20, 1996

A "True Ispiration" to all that seek the True!

Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
1. I run SETI@home because I for one will Never giving up Hope on finding the truth! As said on X-files "The Truth IS out there!"

2. My views are:
Keep up the good work!
We need as may people working on this from as many angles as we can!

3. My suggestions would be that even if funding is pulled or hard to get and others lose hope that doesn't mean we have to also!
