Personal background
Iam in my early 50's,divorced,and own my own business. Astromony, sci-fi,a quest to find what's over the next hill are all very intergral part of me. I know that mankind is naturally inquisitive, therefore making him a born explorer.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Execpt when I run a program for work, the machine sits idle most of the time,, so why not donate machine time. I also look after an elderly person, so if I want to check out the Manager, I can and check out the process. I think the idea of using a network of computers configured in such a way for maximum usage is ingenuious and Sagan would be estatic! As far as any suggestions, we should organize and get some of that drug lobby money. For what I've paid for prescription medicine, I feel like I paid for part of Ariecebo(ha) Seriously, if we can get an organized effort moving, it would be great.
