Personal background
(For those of you who do not know, I am a U.S. Army soldier, who just came back from Iraq. This is part of my profile, under the same name, from Myspace. My wife is a student at Notre Dame, and that's why I claimed this team. I'll be out that way for the entire month of February, on leave, so maybe I'll run into you...PEACE)

Well, I survived. I'd like to say that it wasn't that difficult to do so, but then what does that say about my respect for those who didn't? To tell you the truth, I don't feel like I ever lived up to the standard that I had planned on. I never did my job. The most medical treatment I can claim is working sick call every once in a while, and irrigating a few non-life-threatening wounds. So much for all that Hooah, Hooah, hardcore training I got in AIT. Hopefully, I'll get on with my career and become an officer. Maybe even a Doc if I'm lucky. Anyway, I digress... So, "About me." Is it just me, or does no one else ever have any idea what the hell to put into this little box here? I mean, how much can you really learn about me by reading a little subjective Bio that I wrote? I think it's bullshit if you ask me. Then again, I think a lot of stuff is bullshit. The way I figure, If you have read this far, you deserve to get at least a little info. I'm 22, And California is my home, NOT FT STEWART!!! I'm a "Combat Medic" in the U.S. Army. I'm assigned to "The best forward support battalion in the entire United States Army!" For those of you who don't belong to this unit, I'm mocking our Battalion Commander, with his politician-style bullshit. Trying to get us motivated about being in one of the most dysfunctional units in the military. I swear, if we are the best, the Army is in trouble. So, what else? Um, I'm married to my wonderful wife, Elizabeth.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I think the project is one of the best uses of technology to date. I've been running SETI@home for years, but then I joined the Army, and have been away from it for the past 3. Now I'm back home, and and trying to do my part. I doubt it will ever make a difference in our lifetime, but I'm not doing this for myself. I do this for all of humanity...
