I'm a 30-year old tech support agent in Western New York. I enjoy playing World of Warcraft, making chain maille, and watching movies like 'Serenity', 'Equilibrium', and 'The Lord of the Rings'. I've been published in the International Library of Poetry, and hope to someday publish longer works of other genres.
Of course, winning the lottery would be nice too. |

For the time being, I think that this is the best way to discover the location of other intelligent life. You'll note that I didn't say the 'existence' of said life, because statistically speaking, it would be rather impossible for it to be nonexistent off of this planet (indeed, INTELLIGENT life is hard enough to find on this planet as it is).
Everyone wants to think that they're part of something bigger than themselves, something that will go on after they're gone. For those of us who take pride in the 'computer geek' moniker, this is the perfect opportunity. I don't know if we'll find something through these means, but we can always say we helped. |
