Profile: Oeds Wijbenga

Personal background
I am retired now, born in 1938 in Delft, the West of Holland and seti@home runs on my pc since several years, I just finished the 300th charge. I run Seti@home to keep my pc busy when I do not use it, so the energy is not lost. I am married to Paula since 1963, have 4 children and 5 grand-children. I support senior people when they have computer-problems, visit them @home or take the computer to my house to reinstall Windows, when the problem can not be fixed at location. I also design websites, such as my brothers www.cabooseart.com and mine, www.heemeltjelief.nl.
That's all folks, for the moment at least.
All the best,
Oeds
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Because the above mentioned reason and I like the screensaver with the atrractive colors. I am convinced in some way that there must be extraterrestrial life but the chance to make contact is very little. That's why I support this project, because many computers all over the world form a tremendous calculationpower. The transfer to this new system almost made me give up, because I am a bit lazy and now I have to read so much, it is not just one or a couple of mouseclicks and then goes on.
Suggestions: go on like before and hoopefully find some sign of life in the univers.
