| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

I have been running SETI@home since 2005. I think it's a great way to use otherwise idle hardware. Finding out if we are alone is, in my opinion, the greatest question of humanity.
Systems:
G5 mac dual 2.0GHZ
Intel laptop dual 2.0GHZ
Intel Quad core 3.1GHZ + (2) NVIDIA GTX 460 @ 840MHZ
In winter the computers help heat my home. In summer I turn them off to save on air conditioner load.
I hope to keep adding hardware to run each season! |
