I'm a student at the Politechnic University of Electronics in Cluj-Napoca Romania and a little bit of a dreamer. I do believe that other advanced civilisation exist, doubt it though that we could make contact with them at the current time..
Still, i said i am a dreamer, and what harm is there to search for other alien dreamers in this universe? By finding them we could find our origins, explanations towards our existence as inteligent human beings. I believe it's our duty to make everything possible towards understanding our nature, and the vast nature of our universe. Seti@home is a small step for us, individuals... but it's part of a bigger step for mankind (copyright given to the respective owner :P ).
I've been with seti@home for 2 years now, and it's always a pleasure to see a promising Fourier transform:P. My contribution is small, but still, i can spare some CPU cycles which sometimes become really rewarding.
I wish you all the best, and salute the bright minds that made this possible.
