I was born in Cambridge, MD, with my twin sister Sue and my parents.
It was way back shortly after Seti first started that I discovered it and made up my mind too give it a try. I\\'ve been running it off and on ever since.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
1. If I did not run any of these distributed programs then I\\'d probably have two computers going to waste.
2. We would surely have received a signal by now if it were \\"local\\". By that I mean within about 10 light years or so. Anything that was sent out from a few hundred light years away may not be worth bothering with, although we would know that we are not alone.
3. Let\\'s try and focus on the distances in between - and W.O.W !
