I have lived in Denver, CO, Dodge City, KS, Silver City, NM, San Diego, CA, and graduated High School from Bolivar, MO (SW MO). Went to College for a BS in Fire Protection & Safety Engineering from Oklahoma State. Currently working on a Masters in Public Administration while living in Bolivar, MO with my wife, Amy. I work for a local health department as an emergency planner.

| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

1. Why do I run SETI@home?
What else does my silly, old computers have to think about besides their glory days?
2. What are my views about the project?
I'm not sure SETI will actually ever find anything because I'm not sure there is anything to find, but we will never know unless we try, right?
3. Any suggestions?
I would like to see the area of the sky I have personally analyzed and am currently analyzing. It would also be neat to translate the noise into sound that could be heard through the screen saver. Eliminate the static, just the spikes as they occur. |
