Personal background
There is allot more to explore than the average being does or even realizes. Let me embark, and not be distracted. Everything humanity has experienced has been a mere second of the cosmic calendar. And yet over two thousand years ago, we were not far behind our current understanding. Our science has only recently begun to surpass the knowledge accumulated in the great library of Alexandria. It deeply disturbs me that this tremendous focal point of our advancement was destroyed in the name of religion. There is also the sad fact that throughout our crawl from the sea, there has been few greater centers for knowledge and advancement as this, and that such a disposition has been rarely a concern, or a primary focus in our civilizations and politics. Though we are mere evolutionary babies, there are fifteen hundred cosmic years, of which humanity is but a second, riding on our cosmic evolution. And from the surface, and perhaps to the core, we seem bound and determined to destroy this unfathomable heritage. Of all the resources we consume, all the billions of dollars wasted on war and other trivial delusions, only a small fraction is invested in the future of our species. Ultimately we must escape this earth to perpetuate our existence. And though we are destroying our home here, our womb is doomed to destruction by greater forces after all. We are limited only by our imaginations, and our science fiction becomes reality. But who will make it off this rock, the elite of course. Unfortunately our human standard of elite primarily include those in possession and control of our currency. And like any form of power, it corrupts and maddens the most sane individuals. I believe Tolkien's well known work is ultimately a tribute to this metaphor. What will unfold? Only our mind will reveal. But remember kiddies, the spiral continues, the dragon must eat its tail. The breath of creation must inhale as well as exhale, but will do so infinitely, of which your feeble little cerebral cortex cannot pretend, to comprehend. As above, so below!
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Any effort made to this effect, curiously endured.
Whatever chip I may chisel in contribution to achieve this realization,
the limitlessly possible.

Precisely what do "WE" know, I can comprehend perhaps why "we" are not told.
But could we be so bold as to inquire, and where should we be looking?

Perhaps the evidence we seek shall not be found in (these) radio waves.
