Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Chances are... very high that we will encounter another intelligent life-form in the course of our lives and we shouldn't be surprised. Think about your last visit the zoo? Monkeys/Chimps - very smart. Dolphins - even smarter! And that cat of yours is probably smarter than you think... (the verdict is still out on your dog). Birds "mimicking" humans? Maybe they actually know what they're talking about!
Start by paying attention to signs of intelligence on Earth, and we may also come to recognize signs of intelligence out there...
We can't be alone...
1. Common sense tells you something is out there.
2. Mathematics tell you it is improbable.
