Profile: Alexander Lai

Personal background
You can see my picture ... it's my university graduate in 1995. Looking good? ;)

My name is Alexander. I was born in Hong Kong in 1976. I am now working as a Senior Project Engineer in an ICT company.

I am interested in space, technology and computing. I do believe there is life other than human.

To be frank, I like living in places other than Hong Kong. Maybe the life style or working pressure are completely different in other places. I do not have much time that can be spent on my hobbies.

Computing is one of my hobbies, but also my career. Well .... of course, helping friends and church to fix computers is one of the happiest thing that I always do.

May God bless you and your family. =)
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Well .... yes, I do believe extraterrestrial life exists. Timing is not in our hands, but His hand.

I believe it's half-and-half possibility that they are harmful to human. But from the history of human on Earth, I believe we are dangerous to them.

I support SETI@home, because I appreciate their effort in discovering space. Human on Earth, and also in the Universe, is so small. I dedicated one computer to run the program non-stop. Keep going! I do believe it's a very good project for human.
