Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
No real thoughts except, i think its funny we still have money in the ferderal govt budget for communicating with voyager, just really what is it telling us? That space is a big dark mainly empty place? I think searching for these radio signals is way more useful, and even if we dont "pick up" anything, I am sure the amount of data collected about radio waves and such is valuable in many ways. Abandon the relic and fund this project with more dish arrays and computers. This project probably needs about 15 million a year to be what it wants to be? I think voyager still get 2-4 million a year. Maybe after we re-build new orleans and the mississippi coast.
