Personal background
Im a 2nd year graduate student studing crap. I wont go into ti, but its crap. Personally, I just want a job, thats all, but since CS majors are a dime a dozen, I had to make the effort and grab the masters. In any case, Im a sexy-nerd with all the trimmings, most of those trimmings being single. I collect records, anime, books, all that sort of stuff. I like Haruki Murakmai's writing the most, and Bruce Campbells acting. Past that, I live alone (and when I say I alone, I mean it, my flat is empty save for me and the agoraphobe down the hall), eat healthly (unless Im crazy), and love chinse food like the devil. Yeah there you go.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I, at one time, ran seti for over a year maybe two, I cant remember. I enjoyed it. I felt I was contributing to something better then "Lets find the next largest prime number!" or "Lets break such and such encryption!". I just remember seeing Carl Sagan's Cosmos series, and reading his novel, and just thinking "Wow, theres someone out there with such hope". Plus he was just skeptical enough. Oh yeah, in my books, he's the bomb. Heck I have a coat just like his brown cord one form the series! Ahh yes. I can onl hope this fuels people enough to think more about space travel. I'd lvoe to get out there, It's the only place I want to let myself die in.
