Personal background
I work in the communication department of the Brazilian Ministry of Science and Technology.

Our main goal is to provide general information to the general public in the country about science, technology and inovation.

Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
1) I think it's a very interesting project and I think every resource should be used in the advancement of science.

2) I think it's getting every time better.

3) Some suggestions (I don't know how difficult their implementation would be, but it maybe worth looking into them, in case you haven't):

- Create a link to install Boinc software with the specific project of interest already built in. Maybe it's possible to provide a list of projects available from within the program. This should make it much easier to deal with the program, specialy for less technicaly inclined people, willing to help.

- Talk with PC manufactureres so they may include the software in their systems, as an alternative to usual screensavers.

That's it for now. Keep up the good work!
