I was born in 1976 in Tokyo, Japan but am originally from India. Currently, I'm doing an undergraduate in Multimedia and Web Design from the Art Institutes International Minnesota in Minneapolis.
I've always been a sci fi fanatic and found space research to be fascinating. I'm not very literate in terms of science but have been trying to educate myself more about our universe. I do beleive we're not alone.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I run SETI@home for two reasons:
a. I believe we're not alone
b. This is a tiny contribution which would speed up the process of our search for answers by a tiny fraction.
This project I think is awesome. Using processing power from all over the world to analyze data; brilliant reality.
SETI@home and Astropulse are funded by grants from the National Science Foundation, NASA, and donations from SETI@home volunteers. AstroPulse is funded in part by the NSF through grant AST-0307956.
