Personal background
I am a 16-year-old student at Lawrence High School, NJ, USA, and the top number cruncher in the Lawrence High School group. I am in my third year of high school. Math, science and computers are my academic interests. I am taking a class every period of the school day with no lunch and tackling many challenging classes such as Honors Pre Calculus and Honors Chemistry. Along with Spanish 3 and my normal classes I am taking two computer associated classes. I am taking Java scripting this year and my second year of my high schools two year CISCO program (CCNA3 and CCNA4). I will have my full CCNA CISCO certification at the end of this school year and be certified to work on networks or areas of networks with less then 100 nodes. I have a great interest in computer hardware and have built 3 computers my self (two for friends) from individual purchased parts. I am also very interested by the Internet and am trying to always build a better web page. Using tools such as Dream Weaver and MX Flash, and all the programs of the MX 2004 suit. My skill with these programs is limited but away growing. There is much for me to learn and I am enthusiastic to gain this knowledge. Also I keep in shape with three seasons of running distance (Cross Country, Winter Track, Spring Track). With my free time if it cannot be spent with my friends or my very special girl, I resort to the good old video game. Many hours have been invested in playing games such as Counter-Strike, Need For Speed, Battle Field 1942, Medal of Honor, Moonbase Commander, War Craft 3, my old time favorite Total Annihilation, and my most resend addiction GunBound. I would happily trade all my game time for the income of a job though and am looking for one. I NEED A JOB! However I am finding it very hard to find a job that involves the skills I am devolving and a job that does not require me to have already mastered these skills. Especially my age has cause the problem to be much harder. Till then I am going to try and get a job selling electronics. My friend and I ha
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I will add this later. But till then my short version is I believe there must be life out there and we just have to find it, whatever form it may be. I am also a supporter of the space program and believe work towards the second residence of humans, mars should be done. And for all who think the space program should not be funded with government money because of the vast number of things still to learn about our own plant or feel money could be better used, I say make your own program to fill your wishes but don’t stop the expiration of the final frontier.
