Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I think it's obvious that given the enormous size of the galaxy - let alone the whole universe - there has to be another inhabitable world out there somewhere. I think it's only a matter of time until we discover evidence of life somewhere else. Whether it be on some distant planet, possibly underground on Mars, or even under the ice of one of Jupiter's moons. If there's intelligent life out there somewhere, we should spot 'em sometime within the next 20 years or so, thanks to developing technology and programs like SETI.
