Personal background
Well currently i'm from a place called Hobart, Washington. Its a bit of a rural community located outside of Seattle, Washington. Real peaceful farming type area. I just recently turned 42. I remodel older homes, and when not working, I hunt, fish, work on my farming plans, and greenhouse designs. Take the motorhome out and travel to places, mostly looking for gems, gold, and or meteorites..and property that is somewhat isolated in order to eventially build my self sustained living compound/ quarters, or my way to live through the incoming resession. I learned about computers as a kid, never had any training just managed to figure them out. I had been pretty worldly in my younger years, and was able to have visited Russia, Germany, China, Japan. I spent about 10 years of my life crab fishing in Alaska, and have seen things that have no explanation except that there are other populated worlds out there in the universe or space, and some may have already figured out how to travel from world to world... Trust me i think at one point in my younger years i was abducted by one of them there travelers. I have a limited education, as far as schooling went, but have a ability to understand things sometimes things that are even way beyond the comprehension of even some of my more highly educated, friends and family. Almost an ESP or some form of Noterdomous type intellect. I joined SETI in order to help find my other family, and send them a message that i'm ready to come home now, this worlds gotten to confusing for me... Peace out keep searching for my friends...
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
1)Why do you run SETI@home?
Because its pointless to have a computer running almost 24/7 and not doing anything, except for when i use it. I also need to get a message to my space family that i've learned my lesson and want to come home now, as long as i don't restricted to the perimeter of the Milky Way.

2 and 3)What are your views about the project?
Any suggestions?
I think its great, but also think that, planting a transmitter/ reciever on a asteriod is another far better chance of gaining a quicker response to inteligent life outside of this current solar system, using a jpeg format, and or mp3 type transmission. Which is currently being used to transmit information wirelessly via satalite. I think its great that we believe in something more then just ourselves, maybe one day that will save us from ourselves.
Keep doing what your doing one day we will know...
