Personal background
Hi!! Aged 32, I'm a computer Graphics Designer & Webmaster. My hobbies are computer & electronic Technology, pure applied science, astronomy, RC models and Sci-Fi movies. I usually like to spend most of my time designing &/or replicating scaled models (all in 3D) of almost any type of vehicle or aircraft, wether they may be original designs or straight out of the movies. But surely my biggest main interrest are my 3 kids & wife. ;) - Children are our future, so let's make it the best we can for them.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I surely don't think anyone has the ability to even remotely certify that we are the only intellingent living beings in our entire universe. However, I do think it is alot easier, at such a scale of thought, to imagine that we surely aren't the only ones in our great big ever expanding universe. But isn't that what we are all participating in this project for? To find answers and proove ourselves otherwise?

I think personnaly that there are way too many inconsistancies & incertainties in man's approach as to the universe's mechanisms and it's origins of how it all began. But all those inconsitancies are as uncertain as saying that there is life somewhere else out there. We are all here now searching for answers but we are here, does that make the human race anymore inconsistant than it's reasoning on the subject of ETI's? If there really is life out there besides us, let's do this and find it. The only sure thing to me is if we keep thinking that we're all alone, & don't do anything about trying to find out, that's the only certainty that we'll ever get.

Peace on earth & Respect to all.
Alex DOYLE.
