My name is Ryan(go by ry), and I am living in Roulette, PA(originally from the eastern shore of MD)...Roulette is a small town in Potter County, which is in north-central PA, about 20 minutes south of the PA/NY state line.
I am 24 years old...married to my beautiful wife Keri, and proud father of 10 month old Kiersten Virginia.
My wife and I are both sales reps for Adelphia Communications(provider of Powerlink cable broadband)at the corporate Adelphia headquarters in Coudersport, PA.
My interests include computer/internet technology...dwnloading,sharing,&burning MP3s.....and now SETI@home!
I recently bought a new Dell system, and can now take full advantage of my broadband connection! ...though this would be a great way to do so!!!

Do I think extraterrestial life exists? It's really hard to imagine that we are alone in this vast universe...hard...naive is probably the better word.....
how will we discover it....will have to return after some thought on that one......benefits and dangers are both limitless...benefits would include the possible gain of much more advanced technologies....the dangers would include the possible encounter of a hostile race...
sure we should transmit a beacon...what info...maybe past and present news radio broadcasts???
I am very new to this, and decided to run SETI@home as a way to use my new machine and my broadband connection for a project that may benefit us all! |
