Personal background |
I'm a nondenominational Christian, and God is the center of my life. I try to live for him as best I can. I was born and raised in Maryland, and I'm an undergraduate at Virginia Tech. I'm the president of the Astronomy Club here, and I love to stargaze and play with telescopes. I also like to hike and play sports. I enjoy yoga and I love to read and learn, especially about the sciences. I'm a total cat-lover as well. |
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |
1. I think it's a neat program, and you never know what you're going to find until you look.
2. I think that this project idea was rather innovative and has taken "parallel computing" to the next level.
3. The client can be a bit buggy sometimes; it would be nice if that could be smoothed out a little more. |
