Kia Ora!
I am a twenty something female and live in Karamea, New Zealand. I am a teacher a my local school and teach Year 5, 6 home room class and Year 9 computer science. I am also the co-owner of a dairy farm. My interests are tropical fish keeping, renovating our home and playing with my daughter.
I have a BSc in Geograpghy, a Post Grad Dip in Environmental Science and a Grad Dip in Teaching and Learning.
I feel I have the best of everything living in such an isolated part of the world and being a teacher. I can still get intellectual sitimulation yet escape from the rat race at the end of the day.
I have chosen to run seti as a way of still participating in scientific research. I think that it is terrific that someone thought of such a practical way of processing such a lot of data. It's exciting to think that I might be the one in a billion person to first identify a call from ET.
