| I'm from near Derby in the East Midlands. I am a Software Engineer, single, no children (thank goodness!). Most of my time online is spent playing EVE Online. I enjoy DVDs and photography. I also like computer games and consoles. In plain and simple terms....I'm a geek. |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

| I ran Seti Classic for a while. The work units took forever (13 in 224 hours) and I was awarded no credit so I stopped. My current computer is much faster (units taking about 3.5 hours each) and I'm making visible progress in terms of work units processed, which is a bit more satisfying. Now I've added my new laptop which has two CPUs, so expecting my RAC to rise steadily. Will never be able to compete with Bully though! |
