Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Yes I do think they exist and I do think we will not discover them they will discover US.. I believe the dangers are we are insignificant in this universe and any for that matter and yet we think we our egos think we are the end all to be all and we are sadly mistaken. I think we should transmit if not only to be discovered but possibly reap the benefit of understanding that we are not alone and that we need to change our silly ways. The message we should send is HELP we are destroying ourselves can you help US survive. I run Seti@Home in the hopes that we are discovered. As for my views I think it is worthwhile project to undertake and believe all should join in the search wherever possible. I also think that we as humans should band together and not apart as our history continues to dictate how insignificant we are on the evolutionary scale of 1 to 10 we rate about a .003 in my opinion. We can do so much better with the resources we have been blessed with.
