Hello, my name is Susan. I'm an avid Sci-Fi fan, especially original Star Trek, Stargate SG-1 and classic Sci-Fi movies. I have always been interested in anything Science Fact OR Fiction. One of the highlights in my life so far was seeing the Space Shuttle on the launchpad, ready for lift-off. Although being a passenger would be the ultimate high. Maybe one day.
When not dreaming of the stars, I have a fairly conventional life. Work, home, family, the usual stuff.
I'm using the SETI@home program 24/7 using Seti Driver with the Command Line Client. |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

I was introduced to SETI@home by my partner who is a SETI addict. Although he only wanted another name for his group, I am halfway to joining him in his addiction. If anyone finds life out there, it had better be me. I hope it's "Mr. Spock" as he is the safer alternative to contacing a "Predator". But then, do THEY think WE are READY for contact. If I was intelligent life out there, I would think twice about contacting Earth.
We may end up seeing a real-life "Mars Attacks", if so, should we be sending out our own signals???
