Personal background
My name is Grant Hodge
I was born at the end of the big depression in the 1930s and grew up in the Great Northwest Puget Sound area.
I have been an avid Sci Fi fan since the 1940s. Even tried to write a couple of novels. Been doing SETI for about four years now. Up to 5858 units as of now. Average time is roughly 8 hrs and 36 min now. My computer is doing them at about 5 and 1/2 hours now. Started out doing them before DSL at about 17 hrs. Hope we find them and they are helpful we need help here before we wipe ourselves out.

Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I know extraterrestrial life exists. I think we are being gently guided by them at this time. I have seen two UFOs and the last one was so huge and slow it must have been doing some sort of recon work here in Arizona.
I run SETI here because I want so much to help or actually be the one to find the proof that they are out there. If we don't kill the world before we get better power sources there is a good possibility that it was because we had help.
Hope we develope better search methods and something finally works.
We have been sending signals for years, hope they are recieved them with knowlege.
