Personal background
Hi I'm Warwick I currently live in Cootamundra.
I've been interested in space since I was about 13 when my parents purchest a lego spaceship(I'm now 29-..30 in June).

Started doing an assiate diploma in Infomation Technology until 1993 when I had a nervice breakdown, Curently studing to be a Nurse but I still dream of going to Mars and settling down, or even taking a long voyage to a neibouring star system.(Ok so the technology doesen't exist yet but I can still dream!)

I've kept my eye's on NASA's sucesses and failures over the years. Ive been aware of SETI@home for some years but until 3 days ago didn't have an internet conection.

I like to do my own amature research on power generation and propultion-havent got anywere yet.

As far as astronomy is concerned I like to look at our neibouring planets and on occation I look at alpha centurie A,B,C.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
1/There is a good chance that it exists.
It will most likely be discovered by acident.
Benifits - trade.
Dangers - Humans enjoy war to much, once we discover others in the universe we will naturally go to war with them.
2/Why not if you don't risk nothing you don't gain nothing.
3/The thirst for knowledge is what drives humanity onwards.
