Personal background

I started in the hobby of the space when I was 2 or 3 years old and my parents gave me a book about space, since then I always have felt in the obligation to know more about it, and since then the interest has not decreased. Even if the studies have made disappear those dreams of a boy of being astronomer, astronaut, etc. Internet has opened me the doors allowing me to participate in projects like this. I hope this small contribution be util. ------------------- Mi aficiÃ³n por el espacio, por ese inmenso vacÃo surge cuando tenÃa 2 o 3 aÃ±os y mis padres me regalaron un libro sobre el espacio, a partir de ahÃ sentÃ la inmensa necesidad de conocer mÃ¡s sobre el, y hasta ahora ese interÃ©s no ha decrecido. Aunque los estudios me han alejado de esos sueÃ±os de pequeÃ±o de ser un astrÃ³nomo, astronauta, etc. Internet me ha abierto las puertas al permitirme colaborar en proyectos como este realmente interesantes. Espero que este grano de arena que aporto al programa sea de utilidad.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I join the SETI@home project because I need to know if we are alone in the universe and this is the reason why I cannot be a passive observer waiting that others discover it. I believe that this project is giving great results in cooperation between people all over the world. IÂ´m absolutely convinced that we will find a signal and we will be able to contact with inhabitants of other worlds ------------------- Participo en el proyecto SETI@home porque me siento en la necesidad de conocer si estamos solos en el universo. Por lo tanto yo no puedo ser un observador pasivo esperando a que otros lo descubran, algo de lo que yo estoy seguro que tarde o temprano ocurrirÃ¡. Yo creo que este proyecto estÃ¡ ya dando unos frutos impresionantes en colaboraciÃ³n entre la humanidad, eso ya es bastante. Aun asÃ yo estoy absolutamente convencido que tarde o temprano encontraremos una seÃ±al y podremos ponernos en contacto con habitantes de otros mundos
