Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Possible topics:
1. YES!, scientists have proven that life can and WILL develop in circumstances we previously deemed impossible to sustain life. Of course this means bacterial, single-celluliar life-forms, but it isn't impossible for a planet to exist with the same gravitational circumstances as earth an to have an evolutionairy history similar to earth's.

2. By the time 'someone' recieves it we'll probably be gone, however if everyone concludes this and deemes it futile it would also be futile to listen, now would it? I think they should send an 'hello' and a description of our culture and technology(remember that by the time someone reads it, it'll nolonger be up-to-date so there probably aren't any security problems to prevent unlikely events). This should be done for the intelligent life-forms who read it billions of years later and can learn from our achievements(and mistakes).A sort of 'fingerprint' of the human race.

3.Curiosity, They shouldn't discontinue this project, Use faster processor-specific non graphical clients.
