I am a "jack-of all trades" and a bookman . I am 38 years old and had a very early start in the trades . Though I am now in a wheel-chair, I still get around fairly well . Formally married ,I have 3 wonderful kids . I like to read nearly every type book and printed media for information,to continue to learn everything I can .
I write poetry and a form of hikau that is very exspressive and do any type of research i can get my hands on . I was born in Washington ,D.C. and now live in the very middle of S.C. . I play the guitar and several other stringed instuments . |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

1)As stated previosly " If we are all the life there is in the universe don't you think that there is a lot of wasted space ." I belive there is more than one type of mesurement for intelligence and we will not have to leave Earth to be introduced to that fact .
We have been contacted over the ages and when we are finally seen to be ready we will meet these "beings" and have that epiphny of how alike we as humans we are ,but there are other's out there who will use our nature against us .
2) I truthfully don't belive we as a race (the terran race ) ,are ready for an introduction to the rest of the universe and to be slapped with the reality that we are not at the top of the "food chain" .
3) I run seti@home because I want to know for sure we are not alone .
As for suggestions how about an update on progress ,at least bi-annually , better yet quaterly ,on areas (of space)of completion . |
