Profile: Dave Stannard

Personal background
Came to Cambridge in 1983 to work in a port-a-cabin for a small start-up called Acorn computers.

Started Seti@Home back in 2001 and got to top 1% contributors, then BOINC came in and it was klunky, I didn't understand it and I gave up :-(

Just found it again and re-started. Mainly using an idle 16-core x64 2GHz PC, previously used for Neural Network learning processing.

Good luck all (we'll find LGM one day!) - Dave S.
