Im twenty four years old I live in a little town in Englang (uk) close to the welsh border.I have always had a fascinatian with space from when I was a young chap.My believes however are more founded on fact than crazy far out sci-fi stuff.As for quite how we got here remains a mystery as we are trying to understand events that quite possibly have been occuring forever (ie ther is no single point to the origans of space)for this reason we may never explain the existance of ourselfs.Never the less that isnt to say we may make small breakthroughs into understanding such events.I run seti for several reasons,one to satisfy myself that im playing a small part into discovering something trully exiting and obviously to keep my processor busy!
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
as for ET Im sure as eggs are eggs, he/she certainly exists just in what form and how far away I dont kmow! it would be ignorant to think otherwise.It could be possible that ET is just as or is more (probably more)intelligent than ourselfs.Just quite what such a creature would think of our civilisisatian would trully shame us Im sure.Attempts to contact ET must be encouraged as what a shame it would be to miss such an encounter.As to what ET would look like hopefully they would all be highly evolved and look just like kylie minogue! or brad pitt for the ladies! and have a relentless appetite for sex naturally.just if anyone is wondering I run seti on a home built system running a p4 3.0ghz (800)fsb.
