1. Do you think extraterrestrial life exists? Maybe so, Maybe not. Without scientific inquiry, we won't know.
2. Should humans transmit a beacon for others to find? This is a difficult technological issue. Sure, send a signal. Something simple, Something that is detectable as intelligent. Repeating sequence of prime numbers? Beethoven's 5th Symphony? The "I Love Lucy" Show?
3. Why do you run SETI@home? Scientific contribution. Team Effort! I am skeptical that we will detect anything in a single lifespan. Until then, keep eating up that "White Noise"! Rock on!
