| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

| I'm happy to run SETI@home in my spare cycles. Years ago, when I did it with early WinDoze, it was not practical. Now It runs in the background on my Windows 2000 machine (wish there was a graphical version for LINUX, would run it on that box too). Although earth is a very special place, and we need to take care of what we have, I don't think it is impossible that there are other planets with intelligent life. Looking is a good thing. |
