Personal background
I'm 49 yrs. old, married and have a 20 year old son. I retired from over 25 years in the broadcasting industry and now am finishing my first decade employed full-time in information technology after enjoying a hobby and owning personal small businesses in computer technology since 1978.

Systems on my SETI@HOME home network include:

Compaq Proliant 1000
DEC Alpha 4/267
Dell Poweredge SP590-2
and several other workstation-class machines.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I started doing this when SETI@HOME first began, but had to give it up for about a year and lost my original contributions.

Life out there? I like the way Jeff Wayne put it in the Rock Opera "War of the Worlds", "...The chances of anything coming from Mars are a million to one they said. The chances of anything coming from Mars are a million to one, but still they come...."
