I live in the netherlands, "the green heart" they call it.
I'am working as a system engineer in the ict sector.
My hobby's are amongst others reading especialy SF and adventure, my friends and colleagues call me an "ouwe rocker". thats probably due to my musical taste. Mainly 60 and 70 rock music.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I've alway been interested in space and what's out there. I have always been reading SF and popular scientific litrature. But to this day i don't belief there is any intelligent live form to speak of.
Why would i join Seti? To prove that we are alone!
What i do belief is that some day we will be out there. Not like voyager, but on a smaller scale. Perhaps to Mars or one of the moons of Jupiter. We'll see.
