Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I don't think that we are/has been alone in this big space.
The project itself is importend, but I guess it could be expanded to explore several more aspects?:
Like search for near earth objects as a adjunct to NASA's project; listen for potential solar storms; listen for gamma-ray bursts from black holes ...?
